Class of 2011
Annual Awards

Community Leadership Association Distinguished Leader Award

Each year, the Community Leadership Association (CLA) awards individuals from all over the United States with a Distinguished Leadership Award.  CLA is an international membership association of organizations and individuals dedicated to strengthening and transforming communities through leadership development, and each year it seeks to recognize exceptional community leadership program graduates.  Recipients are nominated by their local leadership programs for exemplifying the spirit and goals for civic involvement and trusteeship.

Leadership Centre County Alumni can nominate a fellow alumnus via email in 200 words or less.  The nomination process begins in November and closes the first week in January.  Nominees are presented to LCC alumni for a vote soon thereafter.  The selected candidate is submitted to the CLA in February and the actual award is presented at the LCC Graduation Celebration in June.
