Take the Pulse of Centre County in One Day…Leadership Centre County presents Meet Centre County, a community orientation for executives new to Centre County. This program, slated for October 14, 2009, is a unique opportunity for executives and decision-makers to learn about important issues relevant to Centre County and how those issues affect businesses and the community.

Meet Centre County is a one-day program that will complement the participant’s knowledge of the issues facing the county, the history of the area, and the quality of life along with providing an excellent opportunity to develop a leadership network. The program begins with a breakfast at the Mount Nittany Medical Center with a welcome from the Penn State University Provost, the Superintendent of the State College Area School District and the President of the Centre County Chamber of Business & Industry. Participants will travel throughout the county and learn more about the history, governance, business, health and human services, agriculture, and arts of the county. The cost of the program is $240.
